LSU football injury report vs Arkansas: Will C.J. Daniels play for Tigers in key SEC tilt?

BATON ROUGE — There is some expectation that LSU football will get at least one of its hurt wide receivers back for its key Southeastern Conference showdown at Arkansas on Saturday night (6:00 p.m., ESPN).

LSU coach Brian Kelly told reporters Monday during his weekly press conference he anticipates getting either senior wide out C.J. Daniels or junior Chris Hilton back from their respective injuries for the No. 8 Tigers (5-1, 2-0 SEC).

Daniels aggravated an old knee injury during LSU's off week a couple of weeks ago and after being questionable and ultimately sitting out the Ole Miss game last weekend. The senior is now listed as probable to suit up against the Razorbacks (4-2, 1-2 SEC).

Hilton has not played this season after he suffered a stress fracture during the preseason.

A new development is freshman offensive lineman Tyree Adams, who has spelled a few of LSU's starters this season when they've needed it, is listed as out for Saturday night's contest.
