LSU baseball faces North Carolina Saturday afternoon in a Chapel Hill Regional winners bracket showdown at Boshamer Stadium in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

The No. 2 seed Tigers (41-21) are coming off a dramatic come-from-behind victory, 4-3, over No. 3 Wofford in the first game of the NCAA regional bracket Friday afternoon. Freshman second baseman Steven Milam hit a walkoff home run, his second homer of the game, in the ninth to lift LSU.

Host No. 1 North Carolina (44-12), the fourth overall national seed, had to come from behind against No. 4 Long Island to advance in the winners bracket and set up a highly anticipated game with LSU. The Tar Heels trailed by three runs before freshman star Gavin Gallaher hit a walkoff grand slam to give UNC the win, 11-8.

If things progress the way they're expected to in Chapel Hill this weekend, this won't be the only time the Tigers and Heels lock horns.
