Louisiana football is looking to continue its rebuild following a disappointing end to the 2023 season, in which the Ragin' Cajuns dropped four of their final five games, including an overtime loss to FBS newcomer Jacksonville State in the New Orleans Bowl last December.

The best way to do that is through good recruiting, and Wednesday — National Signing Day — is the perfect time to start. Louisiana got 15 total players in December, including 11 high schoolers, good for 11th in the Sun Belt. There's still time to improve, and any improvement will come throughout the day on Wednesday as more high school and junior college players sign their letters of intent with the Ragin' Cajuns.
