Indiana Fever fall to Las Vegas Aces: Recap, Caitlin Clark stats tonight, highlights
The Indiana Fever nearly pulled off a comeback, but ultimately fell short of the Las Vegas Aces on Friday night, 78-74.
Caitlin Clark was scoreless at one point in the third quarter, but she caught fire and scored 14 points in that period alone. She finished with 18 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds. Kelsey Mitchell led the team with 20 points.

The Fever had a chance to tie things up but Aliyah Boston missed a 3-pointer with 16 seconds left. Chelsea Gray made both free throw attempts to extend the lead to 5. Temi Fagbenle made a layup with 4 seconds left. But Gray went back to the free throw line and made 1 of 2 attempts.
Caitlin Clark finished with 18 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds. Kelsey Mitchell led the way with 20 points.

Aliyah Boston made a jumper at 2:25 to pull Indiana within 2 points. A'ja Wilson, the two-time MVP who is a heavy favorite to win her third award this season, went to the free throw line at 2:05 and made both attempts.

Caitlin Clark picks up sixth technical foul of WNBA season
Caitlin Clark is one whistle away from a one-game suspension.
The Fever rookie picked up her sixth technical foul of the season Friday night against the Las Vegas Aces. She slapped the stanchion following a foul call against her, leading to both a personal foul and a technical.

Las Vegas retook the lead with a Kelsey Plum 3-pointer at 8:06. Tiffany Hayes then scored for the Aces.
Kelsey Mitchell responded with a basket at 7:20. Megan Gustafson, who attended Iowa, made a 3 at 6:46. Las Vegas has swung things their way with an 11-9 run to open the second period. At 5:27, Mitchell sunk a 3 to cut the Aces' lead to 30-25. She followed that with a jumper at 4:55.
