Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever rewrote team and WNBA record books in her rookie season.
The No. 1 overall draft pick averaged 19.2 points, 8.4 assists and 5.7 rebounds per game, along with 34.3% 3-point shooting and 90.5% free throw shooting in the regular season. She was on the WNBA All-Star team that beat Team USA, which went on to win the Olympic gold medal in Paris. Clark has been the league Rookie of the Month three times and the Eastern Conference Player of the Week three times.
The Fever (20-20) earned their first playoff berth since 2016 and have more victories in 2024 than in their previous two seasons combined.
