Kadyn Proctor injury update: Kalen DeBoer updates status of LT ahead of Wisconsin game
Alabama football left tackle Kadyn Proctor will be "pretty dang close" to play this weekend vs. Wisconsin, coach Kalen DeBoer said on Monday.
Proctor has not played in either of the Crimson Tide's first two games, injuring his shoulder in pregame warm-ups ahead of the season-opener vs. Western Kentucky. He came out in full uniform ahead of the South Florida game but ultimately returned to the field in street clothes prior to kickoff.
DeBoer also added that they will see how Cole Adams goes through the week but that they will not rule him out vs. Wisconsin. Adams left Saturday's game vs. USF in the fourth quarter with an upper extremity injury.

DeBoer said Proctor will continue to work through functional movement early this week but added that he has been doing "really well."
"He will continue to work on his functional movement and all that kind of stuff early in the week," DeBoer said. "Keep progression in a way where I feel he will be pretty dang close by the weekend getting him on the football field. I feel like he's coming along really well especially at the end of last week working extremely hard to get back out there."
Elijah Pritchett served as Proctor's replacement in the WKU game, while Tyler Booker moved over from his normal position at left guard to man the left tackle position vs. USF. Geno VanDeMark filled in Booker's role at left guard against the Bulls.
Alabama's offensive line struggled last week against the South Florida defense, giving up seven live-ball penalties and four sacks. DeBoer previously said he thinks the offensive line will be in better shape this week, something that Proctor's return could definitely help.
