Cole Adams injury update: Alabama football WR exits with injury vs South Florida
Editor's note: This story has been updated to provide an update on Cole Adams' status from Kalen DeBoer postgame
Alabama football found itself once again in a close game with South Florida.
The Crimson Tide went down another player on Saturday as it carved out the win, having already been without starting left tackle Kadyn Proctor. In the fourth quarter of Saturday's nonconference game vs. the Bulls, Alabama wide receiver Cole Adams went down with an injury.
The injury occurred on a first-down conversion that gave Alabama first-and-goal on the first play of the fourth quarter. However, Adams remained down on the ground and was writhing in pain after getting tackled.
