Jalen Ramsey contract extension: Here's how much Miami Dolphins gave star CB in new deal
MIAMI GARDENS — The Miami Dolphins and star cornerback Jalen Ramsey have reached agreement on a 3-year contract extension, a league source confirmed Friday.
Ramsey's extension is three years at $24.1 million per year, making him the highest-paid CB in NFL history, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Ramsey, 29, was under contract for two more seasons.

Ramsey is a seven-time Pro Bowler.
His status for Sunday's game against Jacksonville has been in question due to a hamstring injury.
"He fits," coach Mike McDaniel said Friday. "The team is happy."

McDaniel noted before practice that he wasn't sure if Ramsey would play, but that Ramsey would test out his hamstring.
Ramsey was moving well in the portion of practice open to reporters.
