The Indiana Pacers, the No. 6 seed in the Eastern Conference, and the Boston Celtics, the No. 1 seed, face off in the Eastern Conference Finals NBA Playoffs series.

The Pacers went 47-35 in the regular season. The Celtics were 64-18.

The Pacers beat the No. 3 Milwaukee Bucks in six games in the first round. They beat the No. 2 seed New York Knicks in seven games in the conference semifinals. The Celtics defeated the No. 8 Miami Heat in five games in the first round and the No. 4 Cleveland Cavaliers in five games in the second round.

The Celtics won three of the five games in the regular season series.

The Celtics have home court advantage in the series and host games 1, 2, 5 and 7 in the seven-game series, with the Pacers hosting games 3, 4 and 6.
