Georgia vs Texas final score: Bulldogs knock off No. 1 Longhorns on the road
Georgia football made its first-ever rip to DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium a memorable one.
Behind big days from Trevor Etienne and their defense, the fourth-ranked Bulldogs (6-1, 4-1 in SEC) knocked off No. 1 Texas (6-1, 2-1) on Saturday by a score of 30-15 in Austin. It is the third win against a No. 1 ranked team for Georgia in the Kirby Smart era.
Etienne had his best performance in a Bulldogs uniform since transferring from Florida over the offseason. The 5-foot-9 running back recorded the hat tricks as he finished with three touchdowns on 19 carries for 87 yards.

Is Uga going to be at Georgia-Texas?
No. As reported by Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald, Uga XI will not be in attendance for Saturday’s SEC top-five showdown between Georgia and Texas. The reason for Uga’s absence is that Uga is still a little pup, and the trip to Austin is “too much” for him with all the travel involved.

Georgia vs Texas predictions
Marc Weiszer, Athens Herald-Banner: Georgia 27, Texas 26
"Texas is off to its first 6-0 start since 2009, but it hasn’t played a team currently in the top 20 of the ESPN SP+ rankings. The Bulldogs are the more desperate team after stumbling at Alabama, but that could work both ways. Going with Texas is probably the smart move, but this pick is made mostly in faith that Georgia will summon its best game with some of its top playmakers rising up. Smart has squeezed that out of his team too often in the past."
ESPN Analytics: ESPN is predicting Texas to come out with the win on Saturday, as the Bulldogs have just a 23.7% chance of winning themselves.
