All eyes will be on George Pickens as he enters Year 3 — his first as WR1 — for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It's anybody's guess how Pickens will fare in the top receiving role, but he has athleticism on his side.

"He's 100 percent gonna win his one-on-ones," former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh said on "The Herd with Colin Cowherd." "The jump balls are not 50-50; they're 80-20 with George Pickens."

According to Pro Football Focus' premium stats, Pickens finished his rookie season with 62.5% of his contested targets (33.3%) caught. Those numbers decreased by half (30.8%/21.9%) in 2023.

We'd look for those numbers to be closer to his rookie season with a more capable quarterback in Russell Wilson. But with Diontae Johnson now in Carolina, just how open Pickens will get against defenses as Pittsburgh's No. 1 target remains to be seen.
