Florida State football wide receiver Hykeem Williams out for Georgia Tech game
Florida State football wide receiver Hykeem Williams is out of the Seminoles season opener against Georgia Tech.
The sophomore was listed on the initial depth chart released by Florida State, but he will be unavailable for the season opener due to an injury. Williams was named behind starter Malik Benson and was listed as the backup with Kentron Poitier.
He is expected to return to action soon.
Williams is a former five-star prospect and top-100 recruit out of Stranahan in Fort Lauderdale.
In his freshman season, he saw limited action with FSU as he posted 80 receiving yards on five catches, including one touchdown in eight games played.
FSU will begin the regular season in Dublin, Ireland against Georgia Tech, with the game set to kick off at noon Eastern time.
