Florida State football LG Richie Leonard IV (injury) is out for the season

During his Monday press conference, Florida State football coach Mike Norvell announced that left guard Richie Leonard IV is out for the season.

Leonard didn't play during the 42-16 loss to SMU last Saturday. His name is not on this week's depth chart. Keiondre Jones and Bryson Estes are the two options that can start in place of the Florida transfer.

Redshirt freshman Andre Otto has also elevated in the depth chart as the backup right guard behind TJ Ferguson.

Leonard, a transfer portal player, joined the Seminoles this year after playing all four years at Florida. He started every game before the SMU game.

FSU entered this week 1-4 and will face and 15th ranked Clemson on Saturday at 7 p.m.
