We have a familiar name winning Bucks County area wrestling Team of the Year. See who it is

A year ago, after Faith Christian dismantled everything in its way en route to a PIAA Class 2A dual-meet team title, and another dominating performance at individual states, the question was, "What would the Lions do for an encore?"

Living up to the hype: This Faith Christian freshman is named best in Bucks County area boys wrestling

The answer turned out to be plenty.

Like in 2023, Faith Christian cruised to another PIAA dual-meet title and another PIAA team title at the individual championships. The Lions, also, for the second straight year, crowned two individual state champions and brought nine state medals back to their Quakertown campus.

Sophomore Adam Waters, a two-time PIAA Class 2A champion, helped Faith Christian be named our Team of the Year for the second-straight season.

"We have great competition in the (wrestling) room, and the guys help each other and want to see their teammates improve."

Of their nine PIAA medalists, led by undefeated freshman state champ Joey Bachmann and two-time state champ sophomore Adam Waters, eight will be returning next season.
