Conwell-Egan and Palisades stars named girls' co-Wrestlers of Year for Bucks County area
They both went undefeated.
They both went on a tear at the PIAA championships.
They both won PIAA titles.
And they both deserve the honor of being named the Courier Times/Intelligencer co-girls' Wrestler of the Year.
So Conwell-Egan sophomore Julia Horger and Palisades junior Savannah Witt will rightfully share the title.

Unforgettable feeling for Conwell-Egan's Julia Horger
"It's just an unbelievable feeling to win a state title," Horger said.
"This was my goal and to do it the first year that girls' wrestling is part of everything (the PIAA championships) is just incredible."
The state title win makes Horger the first Conwell-Egan wrestler to capture a PIAA title while Witt is the third Pirate to do so (joining Andy Povenski in 1997 and Nate Haubert in 2018).

A dream come true for Palisades' Savannah Witt
"I've dreamed about winning a state championship," Witt said. "I started wrestling when I was really little and to be able to do it really makes me know all of the hard work paid off."
Horger finished her season 21-0 and raced through the Hershey bracket at 106 pounds with three first-period pins and a 9-3 win over Greenville's Madilyn Enterline in the gold medal bout.
And Witt did basically the same thing as Horger as she also had three first-period pins on the way to the final and then dispatched Butler's Ana Malovich 13-7 to capture her gold medal.
"This is something I'll never forget," Horger said. "The whole experience has been a lot of fun."
