Ex-Bruins Forward Is On Fire Right Now

Former Boston Bruins forward Ryan Donato has been a big surprise early on this season. The Boston, Massachusetts native is currently on fire with the Chicago Blackhawks, posting seven goals, nine points, and a plus-4 rating in his first 12 games.

Donato is not showing any signs of slowing down, either, as he has five goals and seven points over his last six games. Needless to say, the 2014 second-round pick is playing some of the best hockey of his career right now with the Blackhawks.

Donato began his NHL career with the Bruins back during the 2017-18 season. In 46 games over two seasons with the Bruins, he had 11 goals and 18 points. His time with the Bruins ended when he was traded with a fifth-round pick to the Minnesota Wild for Charlie Coyle back in 2018-19.

It will be interesting to see if Donato can maintain this marvelous play from here. So far, he is off to an excellent start.
