Cucho Hernandez helps Columbus Crew secure 2-0 victory over Toronto FC on the road: Replay
After another scoreless first half on the road, the Crew were able to turn their match against Toronto FC around in the second half, winning 2-0 on Wednesday.
The Crew, coming off a 0-0 draw with FC Cincinnati on the road on Saturday, had gone five halves without scoring by the time the first half against Toronto ended 0-0.
This time, Columbus was able to capitalize on offensive opportunities in the second half.
Regular starting striker Cucho Hernandez entered the match in the second half for the Crew, and after just six minutes of playing time created a goal for a 1-0 lead.
Crew midfielder Andres Herrera scored the second goal off an assist from Hernandez. It was Herrera's first goal with the Crew since joining the club on a loan from Argentina's River Plate.
With Patrick Schulte in goal, the Crew recorded their second clean sheet in a row.

In the final minutes of Columbus' road match against Toronto, midfielder Yaw Yeboah entered for Derrick Jones after Jones needed medical attention on the field following a hard hit.

Following what looked to be a fake-out on a Crew corner kick attempt, forward Alex Matan, who was taking the kick for Columbus, was given a yellow card.

Midfielder Sean Zawadzki attempted to put the Crew's first goal on the board with a shot from the outside of Toronto's box. With a straight shot from the left of side of the field, Zawadzki's shot was saved by goalkeeper Sean Johnson.
