What was scheduled as a 7 p.m. ET first pitch between the Wildcats and Gators Tuesday night has been pushed back to Wednesday due to impending weather in the Omaha, Nebraska area, with the NCAA making the official announcement of the move Tuesday afternoon.

Whoever wins between Kentucky and Florida will advance to play No. 3 Texas A&M, which either the Wildcats or Gators would have to defeat twice in order to advance to the CWS championship series.

Both the Wildcats and Gators are on the brink of being knocked out of the double-elimination tournament because of losses to Texas A&M, with Kentucky falling to the Aggies 5-1 Monday night and Florida dropping a 3-2 decision in its CWS opener last Saturday night.
