Clemson's Blake Wright hits two-run home run after Jack Crighton ejected in NCAA super regional
Blake Wright continues to deliver for No. 6 Clemson in the postseason. And his latest delivery may have been his biggest, capitalizing on the Tigers' momentum shift in the second inning of Game 2 of the Clemson Super Regional vs. Florida.
In the top of the third inning facing a 2-1 deficit to Florida, the Tigers' third baseman took projected MLB draft No. 3 overall pick Jac Caglianone deep to straightaway center for a two-run home run to put Clemson up 3-2.

The home run for Wright was his 22nd home run of the season, and 42nd of his career. It also came after both benches cleared between the Gators and the Tigers in the top of the second inning following a collision at first base between Jac Caglianone and Nolan Nawrocki. Tigers first baseman Jack Crighton was ejected from the contest for an unsportsmanlike code violation during the altercation.
While Wright's home run gave the Tigers a 3-2 lead, it was short-lived, as Florida would even the score at 3-3 a half inning later on an RBI single by Colby Shelton.
Clemson not only needs to beat Florida on Sunday to extend its season, but also needs a win against the Gators Monday in the "if necessary" Game 3 to advance to the College World Series. Clemson has not appeared in the CWS since 2010.
