Clemson football's Week 4 start time, TV vs NC State announced for first ACC game
CLEMSON — Clemson football has an official start time for its first ACC game this season.
The ACC announced Monday that the No. 20-ranked Tigers (1-1) will face NC State (1-1) at noon ET on Saturday, Sept. 21, at Memorial Stadium and will air nationally on ABC.
This will be the 92nd all-time meeting between the programs. The Wolfpack defeated Clemson 24-17 in their most recent matchup last year at Carter-Finley Stadium and have won two of the past three games. The Tigers lead the all-time series 60-30-1.
The Tigers rose to No. 20 in the coaches poll and No. 22 in the AP poll after routing Appalachian State 66-20 in their home opener. They enter an open week after having a record-setting first half in points and yards against the Mountaineers.
NC State fell out of the polls after losing 51-10 to No. 9 Tennessee. It hosts Louisiana Tech this Saturday before beginning conference play against the Tigers in Week 4.
