What channel is the Bills game on? How to watch Buffalo Bills vs Miami Dolphins
ORCHARD PARK - Thursday night, two longtime AFC East rivals will renew their hostilities, both sporting 1-0 records, and for the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins, they should feel pretty fortunate that they aren’t 0-1.
Both teams rallied from double-digit first-half deficits to pull out their Week 1 victories. The Bills were down 17-3 to Arizona before scoring touchdowns on three consecutive possessions on both sides of halftime to get on track.
The Dolphins’ turnaround was even more dramatic. They were behind 14-0 early to Jacksonville and then 17-7 late in the third quarter and the Jaguars were on their way to making it 24-7, but Travis Etienne fumbled into the end zone where Miami recovered. On the very next play, Tua Tagovailoa hit Tyreek Hill with an 80-yard touchdown pass and in the final 4:22 of the fourth quarter, Jason Sanders tied the game with a 37-yard field goal and then won it with a walk off 52-yarder for a 20-17 Miami victory.
With Chicago rallying from down 17-0 to beat Tennessee, this was the first time since 1979 that three teams trailed by at least 14 points in Week 1 and came back to win.
“Don’t blink. Don’t blink,” Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins said regarding the team’s mindset when it was down 14 points. “We know who we are. We have been in situations like this and just let’s keep going. If we would’ve blinked, it would’ve been a different outcome.”
They didn’t blink, neither did the Dolphins, and now the teams will meet in a game where the winner will continue to sit in first place in the AFC East and will also own a key victory against a division opponent.
