Blake Burke is the Tennessee baseball home run king.
The junior bashed his 41st career home run Saturday in the fourth inning at Auburn, setting the Vols record for career home runs.
Burke became the second Vol to hit 40 career homers when he homered against Georgia on March 30. He tied Luc Lipcius' record of 40 with that homer.

Burke has been slugging since he arrived at Tennessee.
The California native hit 14 homers as a backup as a freshman with only 120 plate appearances in 2022. He followed that up with 16 homers in 2023 as a full-time starter.
That put him within 10 of Lipcius' record. He needed 27 games this season to tie Lipcius' mark. He hit 40 homers in 137 games in three seasons while Lipcius hit his 40th homer in his 218th career game.
Who are the top home run hitters in Tennessee baseball history?
Burke sits atop the list of Vols with the most career home runs and is the first to surpass the 40-homer mark.
Lipcius set the previous record in the first inning of his final game in 2022 during the Knoxville Super Regional against Notre Dame. Lipcius and Evan Russell engaged in a slugfest the day prior to both break the previous record of 38 held by Todd Helton.
Lipcius hit his 38th in the fifth inning. Russell homered later the inning to set a record with 39. Lipcius matched it in the same inning with his 39th.
Christian Moore has 39 for Tennessee to tie him with Russell for third.
Doug Hecker hit 37 from 1990-92, while Cody Hawn and Sonny Cortez hit 36 each. Hawn played from 2009-10 and Cortez in 1996 and 1998.
