Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase is suddenly one of the most notable names on the team's injury report before the game against the Carolina Panthers.

The Bengals only issued an estimated first injury report of the week on Wednesday as they deal with a short turnaround coming out of that Monday night loss.

Chase was listed as "limited" on the estimated report due to a shoulder issue. This is the first mention of any type of issue coming out of his two-touchdown performance in the loss to Washington.

Otherwise, big names like Sheldon Rankins, B.J. Hill and Trey Hendrickson (illness) were on the estimated report.

Notably, Chase had that illness before Week 1 in the wake of all that contract drama that had him feeling misled by the team. Then, the massive fine from the NFL due to his altercation with an official. Which is to say it wouldn't be a normal-feeling week this season, so far, without Chase in the spotlight right now.
