Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt will have nothing but praise for upcoming opponents this season.

That much we can confirm based on head coach Zac Taylor's reaction to Taylor-Britt's comments directed at Washington.

“That’s not what we do,” Taylor said after the Monday night loss. “We praise our own team. We praise the other team. We don’t take shots like that. That team hasn’t punted in two weeks.”

Taylor-Britt revealed after the loss that Taylor had already spoken to him about the topic behind closed doors, saying "just don't speak on the other teams," as noted in this interview with CLNS Media's Mike Petraglia:

While Taylor Britt's "nice college offense" quip that got a response from Commanders coaches perhaps wasn't meant as a slight, he needed to foresee that the media machine would run with it and the other team would use it as motivation.

To his credit, CTB had some pregame trash talk before playing the Chiefs, too, and reeled in perhaps the best interception of the entire season.

Either way, don't expect anything else from CTB anytime soon.
