Bengals' Joe Burrow throws 100th career touchdown pass vs Commanders on Monday night

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow threw his 100th career touchdown pass during the first quarter of the NFL Week 3 game against the Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football at Paycor Stadium.

Burrow's 41-yard touchdown pass to receiver Ja'Marr Chase gave the Bengals an early 7-0 lead with Evan McPherson's extra point.

It was Chase's 30th career touchdown catch. Chase did not celebrate with the "Griddy" dance for which he's known.

Washington was the Bengals' opponent when Burrow suffered a season-ending knee injury in November 2020 on a hit by Jonathan Allen.

Burrow, in his fifth season with the Bengals, is playing in his third regular-season game since suffering a season-ending wrist injury during a loss last November against the Baltimore Ravens.
