Auburn football flips second Alabama commit in recent days with 4-star ATH Derick Smith
AUBURN — Auburn football has flipped another recruit from Alabama.
Two days after flipping four-star defensive lineman Antonio Coleman from the Crimson Tide, the Tigers sent another shot across the bow by flipping four-star athlete Derick Smith on Monday. Smith, rated by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 51 player in the Class of 2025, is expected to play receiver at Auburn.
Smith is listed at 6-foot-1, 185 pounds and attends Southside High School in Selma. He is the No. 3 player in Alabama.
