Auburn football 2024 game day: How Jordan-Hare renovations will affect fans on Saturdays
AUBURN — Ahead of Saturday's season opener for Auburn football, there will be a few adjustments to the Tiger game day experience.
New pregame and postgame routes have been established to consolidate traffic on Interstate 85 and US Highway 280. For all the updated routes and parking information, Tiger fans can go here. Ross Square is now a permanent parking location. Grass parking locations are now enforced along Wire Road, across from the Woltosz Football Performance Center, for at least the first five games of the 2024 season.
Each game day parking pass issued through Auburn University now includes a QR code with a map and prescribed route from either I-85 or US 280. Postgame traffic maps can be found here.
With the expansion and renovations to Plainsman Park continuing, Tiger Walk will look slightly different as well. The west side of Tiger Walk will remain fully accessible, and the east side will be limited from the beginning of the right field baseball stadium gate to the Frank Thomas statue.
Pathways between Petrie Hall and the north end of Jordan-Hare Stadium will feature limited pedestrian and golf cart traffic. Those fans are recommended to use the Thatch Concourse for an East/West walkway on the north side of the stadium. An additional rideshare location has been added at the corner of Duncan and Samford Drive.
Three new cooling stations have been added to the exterior of Jordan-Hare Stadium. Those locations include the start of Tiger Walk at Samford & Donahue Drive. Fans will be permitted to enter the stadium with a full, sealed clear water bottle or an empty clear plastic water bottle.
