Arizona Diamondbacks fans call for Jordan Montgomery to be removed from rotation: 'Awful'

The Arizona Diamondbacks somehow won a game that they trailed 6-0 entering the bottom of the second inning Monday night.

Diamondbacks fans were ecstatic with the victory, but many called for manager Torey Lovullo to remove starter Jordan Montgomery from the rotation amid the euphoria of the 9-8 victory over the Washington Nationals at Chase Field.

Montgomery only lasted four innings, giving up nine hits and six runs. His ERA went to 6.51 on the season.

With the Diamondbacks, Montgomery has allowed 99 hits in 74.2 innings pitched this season. He has struck out 48 and walked 27. He has allowed nine home runs.

Many Diamondbacks fans have seen enough, slamming the pitcher's poor performance while wondering what has happened to him in Arizona.
