Arian Smith injury update: Georgia football WR returns to game vs Mississippi State
Georgia football senior wide receiver Arian Smith was injured during a play in Saturday's game against Mississippi State. His status was reported by UGA radio as probable for return and that he was sprinting just moments ago.
It appears he suffered a hip injury and is in the locker room.
The Bulldogs are up 20-10 on the other Bulldogs with just over 3 minutes on the clock before halftime. He is the second player to be injured today, the first being Branson Robinson, who injured his knee at the start of the second quarter and will be out for the remainder of the game.
UPDATE | 6:25 P.M.
Arian Smith returned for the third quarter of the game and capped a 3-play, 75-yard drive with a 42-yard touchdown reception from Carson Beck. The Bulldogs went up 34-10 on the score.

Smith returned to the game in the third quarter.
Smith went down with a hip injury with just under 5 minutes remaining in the second quarter with Georgia leading 20-10.
Smith caught a 55-yard pass from Carson Beck on 1st-and-10 and immediately fell to the ground.
He was helped off the field and into the medical tent by a trainer.
The sideline reporter stated on TV that he's shaken up and removed from the field for the time being. He went back to the locker room. UGA radio reported it was a hip injury and he is probable for return, and then minutes later said he was sprinting.

Smith has 5 receptions for 134 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's game against Mississippi State. On the season, he has 18 receptions for 278 yards and two touchdowns, as well as 1 carry for 7 yards.
