The Cincinnati Bengals had a more eventful training camp practice than usual on Wednesday due to a number of fights that broke out involving key players.

Here's a look at some of the big takeaways from the practice:

  1. The fights aren't a huge deal. Offensive players taking issue with players getting thrown too hard to the ground happens. It seemed controlled well enough -- fans will have to hope it doesn't happen during the two joint practices coming up, though.

  2. That said, the vibe shift was apparent. The chippy, talkative defense that has been winning for most of the summer started losing and the result was a ramp up in physicality.

  3. Tee Higgins is dominating, which isn't all that surprising. Related to that, Joe Burrow's arm once again looked good on a 60-yard bomb to the franchise-tagged star.

  4. Good to see Trey Hendrickson back, even if he was just limited. It's his first notable work since being labeled "week-to-week" by Zac Taylor. Sam Hubbard, who carries the same designation, still isn't back.

  5. Rookie McKinnley Jackson, who left injured on a cart recently, was back on the rehab field.

  6. No shocker to see the team make two roster moves related to adding depth to the defensive line after all the injuries.

  7. Daijahn Anthony and Josh Newton continue to make big plays and stand out as rookies who can make the roster and have an impact. In the case of Anthony, that might only be special teams, but it's a good place for the late-round pick to get started.

  8. The Bengals need to hope Joseph Ossai can stay healthy because he again looks fantastic during summer reps -- and they need the help with Cam Sample out for the year.
