Here are the 12 players all over Miami Dolphins NFL mock drafts
The Dolphins will be selecting an offensive lineman with the 21st pick in the next NFL draft.
At least that's what most mock draft prognosticators believe.
Of the 12 mock drafts we analyzed, eight projected the Dolphins to take a trench protector.
There were six offensive tackles — Miami will need an eventual successor to left tackle Terron Armstead — and two centers.
The Dolphins will probably also need a replacement for pending free agent center Connor Williams and perhaps guard Robert Hunt.
There were two edges — Miami will need someone to take reps until Jaelan Phillips and Bradley Chubb are able to return from injury and Andrew Van Ginkel is a possible free agent departure.
The other positions mocked for Miami were cornerback — could the Dolphins need a player to replace Xavien Howard if he is cut or traded? — and wide receiver.
We suppose Miami could need an eventual successor to Tyreek Hill or Jaylen Waddle, who starts off his career as the Dolphins' third wide receiver.
Here are 12 players who are already on the Dolphins' first-round radar:
OT/G Troy Fautana, Washington
Mock: ESPN, CBS
The skinny: More than 29% of America's current mock drafts project Fautana to the Dolphins. Why? Because he could eventually succeed Armstead at left tackle and he could start his career at guard. He's versatile, athletic and powerful.
C Jackson Powers-Johnson, Oregon
Mock: NFL.com, The Athletic
The skinny: Powers-Johnson was flourishing at Senior Bowl practices, demonstrating anchor, balance and power at center and both guard positions.
OT J.C. Latham, Alabama
Mock: Pro Football Network, Pro Football Focus
The skinny: Massive. Aggressive. Has played mostly right tackle.
C Graham Barton, Duke
Mock: Fox, Sports Illustrated
The skinny: Range. Athleticism. Intelligence. Can also play guard.
Senior Bowl 2024: Here are 11 players for Miami Dolphins (and you) to scout
OT Tyler Guyton, Oklahoma

CB Terrion Arnold, Alabama
Mock: Sporting News
The skinny: Former safety and hoops star. Fluid. Physical. High ceiling.
Edge Laiatu Latu, UCLA
