Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill of Dolphins are up for these NFL Awards
MIAMI GARDENS - Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and wide receiver Tyreek Hill are finalists for 2023 NFL awards.
Tagovailoa is a finalist for Associated Press Comeback Player of the Year.
Hill is a finalist for Associated Press Offensive Player of the Year.
Neither players was nominated for AP Most Valuable Player.
Tua, who came back from multiple concussions in 2022 to play all 18 games in 2023, is up against: Joe Flacco, Damar Hamlin, Baker Mayfield and Matthew Stafford.
Hill became the first player in Dolphins history to lead the league in receiving, with 1,799 yards.
Hill is in a category with: Lamar Jackson, CeeDee Lamb, Christian McCaffrey and Dak Prescott.
The candidates for NFL MVP are: Jackson, Prescott, McCaffrey, Josh Allen and Brock Purdy.
Former Dolphins quarterback Chad Pennington won NFL Comeback Player of the Year in 2008.
Former Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino won NFL Offensive Player of the Year in 1984.
Winners will be announced at NFL Honors on Thursday, Feb. 8 at 9 p.m.
