'ET Canada' host Sangita Patel nails 'insane' handstand challenge: 'Fitness queen!'
Sangita Patel is showing off her "crazy strength."
On Tuesday, the "ET Canada" host took to Instagram to share an "insane" video of her performing the viral handstand challenge for her 145,000 followers.
The clip is part of Patel's weekly "Fitness Tuesday" series, where she posts videos of her trying impressive workouts and difficult challenges with the hopes of inspiring people to move their bodies.
In this particular video, the 43-year old maintained a handstand while her legs leaned against a wall in a room of her house, which is currently undergoing renovations.
The TikTok fitness fad typically involves the person attempting to spin in a circle without breaking the handstand, testing core strength and stability.
To pump-up background music, Patel kept her focus while moving her legs up and down. She spun halfway in a circle before the video cut out.
In the caption, the mother-of-two opened up about her experience with the challenge.
"Tried the viral handstand challenge. I didn’t rotate all the way but hey, I stayed up!" she wrote alongside the laughing emoji. "The tiles are done! Yup, not worried about my footprints on the wall."
In the comments, fans went wild over the TV host's "crazy strength."
"Love it! Literally just did this the other day!" commented a follower.
"Girl, you are so fit! Crazy strength!" added another. "This got me thinking about hitting the gym."
"You are just amazing! Don’t know how you do half the fitness routines you do, but you rock!" shared someone else.
"Fitness queen! You make it look so easy!" penned a fan.
Earlier this year, Yahoo Canada spoke to Patel about fitness and self-confidence.
When asked why she started the "Fitness Tuesday" series, the Toronto, Ont.-native revealed that she wanted to share her love of exercise with as many people as possible, and thought Instagram was the perfect outlet.
Within a few weeks of starting the series, Patel said "the response was great." She received hundreds of messages from women who said her videos inspired them to work out.
"Seeing how the videos were speaking to women gave me the motivation to continue. I just want women to be their best. It's not branded and just me putting myself out there," she explained.
Moreover, Patel added that "a lot of women aren't taught to take care of themselves and their health," which is a conversation she wants to change.
"You can be your best at any age, even with a family and a career," she concluded.
