ET Canada host Sangita Patel nails the paper challenge in new fitness video
Sangita Patel is back with another dose of fitness inspiration.
On Tuesday, the "ET Canada" host took to Instagram to share another motivational and "impressive" workout video with her 130,000 followers.
In the clip, the 43-year-old completed the "paper mobility challenge" — and urged her fans to try it for themselves. The challenge requires you to fold a piece of paper like a tent and place it on the floor. While one foot stays planted on the ground, the trick is to pick up the paper with your mouth without having any other part of your body touch the floor.
"It’s fitness Tuesday!" she wrote alongside a video of herself completing the challenge in a denim jumpsuit. "You gotta try this paper mobility challenge!"
The CoverGirl ambassador also admitted that the move is more difficult than it appears.
"I was like, 'yeah, no problem…umm yo!' This was hard, hence the celebration dance at the end, it actually keeps going," she shared.
Fans loved the "Home to Win" host's video and applauded her fitness progress.
"You make it look so easy but I know it's harder than it looks!" one person commented.
Another chimed in: "This is so impressive! Nice work. I'm gonna have to try this one out. Thanks for sharing!"
"I gotta try this! You did it so smoothly!" a fan pointed out.
"Good job! And so beautiful!" added another.
"I gotta try this!" someone else echoed alongside with a flame emoji.
"Wow. Amazing!" raved a follower.
Earlier this year, Patel opened up about the "ups and downs" of her fitness journey over the last four years, paired with two side-by-side photos of herself and her daughter, Shyla.
"This post was influenced by your DMs/messages on getting started with your health journey," she penned. "I got the courage to do a transformation photo and this truly has shown me the power of patience and consistency."
"Lots of ups and downs. 2020 sucked - ate crap, IBS, couldn’t work out like I’m used to, mentally tested, just coping (like most of us). But it wasn’t until Nov 15, 2020 while talking to my mom about my dads diabetes…it hit me. I realized aside from this lifestyle being my savour when I had Shyla it was also because I don’t want to get diabetes, it runs in my family," Patel continued. "So I snapped out of it, I put the scale back in the closet and remembered my 'why'. Once you find your 'why,' I guarantee that you will stay on your healthy journey. So, make your health part of your routine/schedule, like brushing your teeth. Make yourself a priority in your life."
"Now give me 10 burpees," she added.
