Every parent knows that feeling of turning away for just a second—maybe to grab a snack or check a message—and suddenly your heart sinks.
We want to hear your stories about moments when you looked away for just a second and realized you never should have looked away.
Maybe you left the living room for one second to grab something, and when you returned, your child was covered in paint from head to toe.
Maybe it was more serious. You were watching your child play on the playground. You looked away for one second, and when you looked back, your child was gone—only for them to be hiding right behind you.
Maybe you were preparing dinner and stepped away from the stove for a moment, only to return just as your child is about to touch the hot stove!
