Kyle Lowry sounds off on Warriors part owner after shoving incident
The Toronto Raptors are two wins away from their first championship, but the major talking point on Thursday’s off day centred around the Golden State Warriors fan who pushed Kyle Lowry during a stoppage in play during Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
That fan turned out to be Warriors part owner Mark Stevens, and the NBA acted swiftly in banning him from attending games for one year, and fining him $500,000.

The basketball world swarmed to Lowry’s defence, led by LeBron James, who issued a statement on Instagram.
Lowry addressed the incident Thursday and didn’t mince his words, saying Stevens “shouldn’t be part of the NBA.”
Lowry confirms that Stevens told him “go f—- yourself” multiple times.
“I think more should be done. He’s not a good look for ownership...He shouldn’t be part of our league.”

The Toronto point guard was able to keep his composure immediately after the push, explaining that he wanted to set a good example for his children and all the other young fans watching on television.

Even though he handled it perfectly, Lowry admitted it took him a few minutes to cool down after the episode. The 33-year-old credited teammates, particularly Marc Gasol, with helping bring his focus back to the task at hand.
When all was said and done, Lowry finished the Raptors’ Game 3 victory with one of his most impressive performances of the playoffs, tallying 23 points and nine assists.
