What originally looked like just a car crash quickly turned into a domestic violence investigation as a woman ran her boyfriend off the road in Harris County, Texas. Now police investigators are trying to put together the pieces of exactly what happened.

Woman uses her car to pin her boyfriend to his Camaro.

As reported by KPRC, the crash happened in the early hours of November 11. Police know an argument started in the couple’s home and at some point the boyfriend drove off, the woman chasing after him.

At some point, the woman rammed the man’s vehicle, running him off the road and into two posts. Both cars were demolished in the resulting series of collisions.

The man is now hospitalized and is in stable condition. However, the woman is in critical condition. That’s ironic considering she was the one who reportedly caused the chain reaction crash in the first place.

What’s truly sad about this situation is that the man and woman reportedly have a child together. That child probably won’t see mom for some time. Either the woman won’t make it or she’ll pull through, then have some legal troubles which might keep her behind bars or at least unable to be alone with her child for a while.

Domestic violence is a serious issue that’s been focused on more recently, but when it happens to men, like in this case, it seems to often get swept under the rug. Everyone can debate about what that is, but we see fairly often cases of women using cars against men as a way to have the upper hand for inflicting physical harm.

We’d say men should just leave women who act this way, but for all we know that’s exactly what this man did. Some women feel justified in trying to seriously harm or kill men if they finally put their foot down and end the abusive relationship.
