Mustangs hit houses all the time, sadly, but it’s rare we see an accident like this one in Chino, California with the pony car flying through the air, crashing into a house’s second story. The hit was so violent it ripped a hole into the house and scared neighbors, one of them saying he thought maybe it was an earthquake.

Apparently, the people in the Ford Mustang were doing donuts late at night in a cul-de-sac on the other side of a paved ditch from the house, as shown in a report from ABC7. It appears the driver lost control while whipping the pony around, launching it into the ditch, up the other side, through the air, and into the house.
To the shock of nobody, the driver is 21 years-old and obviously doesn’t understand the power he had at his disposal, or at least he didn’t. Now he’s in the hospital with serious injuries, as are the three passengers. One is 19 and the other two are minors.
The S550 Mustang is obviously totaled, the structure crumbled all over. Cheap thrills sure can be expensive.
At least the people in the house weren’t injured. They’re out of a place to live, thanks to the big, gaping hole in the side. Looking at the impact, we wouldn’t be surprised if there’s significant structural damage to the building that isn’t plainly visible.
The homeowner told ABC7 that kids do donuts on that cul-de-sac behind her house often. We’re sure they all thought it was just harmless fun. For the most part it was until one of them lost control and launched their vehicle through the air, right into the house. Pushing your car like that can come with serious consequences.
