Another sure sign that autumn is in full swing and Christmas is on the way is the Pride of Britain Awards, the annual awards show celebrating incredible people across the UK. Nominated by the public, the winners are from all walks of life, of all ages, and from all over the country and are honoured at the annual awards.

The Daily Mirror's Pride of Britain Awards launched in 1999, with royalty, prime ministers, and hundreds of leading figures from showbusiness, sport, politics and the arts all taking part. The 2024 ceremony took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel, in London, on Monday, October 21.

Many stars and celebrities attended the awards and although the awards have taken place the ceremony has not yet aired on TV and here is everything you need to know.

Who are the presenters for the Pride of Britain Awards 2024?

Carol Vorderman is back hosting the Pride of Britain Awards, alongside Ashley Banjo. They have hosted the awards together since 2021 and Carol has hosted the awards since 1999.

Carol, who hails from Prestatyn, shot to fame when she joined the Channel 4 gameshow Countdown. Since then she has gone on to be a Loose Women panellist and entered the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle.

Ashely is best known for being the leader of the dance troupe Diversity, which won Britain's Got Talent in 2009. Since then he has gone on to become a judge on the ITV1 show Dancing on Ice.
