Ah, sexist comments. Aren’t they just a joy? From random stabs at your physical appearance to totally unwanted life advice, any woman who exists will have received them or has a friend who has.
But besides coming up with a kick-ass comeback to them, what can we do? Turn them into art, that’s what.
Röra Blue, an artist based in California, has launched a project called ‘Handle With Care’, which turns everything from period shaming to victim blaming into stunning photo art.

“Handle With Care is a series of six photographs that explore sexist comments that are used frequently today,” Blue explains on her website.

“Some of the phrases are a recount of personal experiences and dialogue, others are comments that women have been submitted via social media.
“The photos aim to capture modern day sexism and some of the pressures that women face in society today.”
She’s also encouraged her fans to share sexists comments they’ve received themselves on her Instagram, and they’re rolling in.
One commenter recalled: “Ladies don’t own black underwear - it means you’re asking for it.”
Another said: “So you are about to start your PhD? Oh no. If you wanna [sic] do something useful with your life, go and give birth to a baby!”
And there are plenty more.
