This mum crochets super-adorable Halloween outfits for her son

When you’re really little, a Halloween outfit is usually made up of an old piece of black fabric and a 99p mask from the supermarket.
But one mum who is, quite frankly, a crafting genius creates outfits for her son which take Halloween dressing up to the next level.
Stephanie Pokorny, who goes by the name Crochetverse on social media, first turned her little boy into a crocheted version of E.T.
Not only was it not made using a pre-designed pattern, but was done free-handed and took four days to make.

Perhaps one of the most impressive things about it was the price - it cost just under $10 (£8) to make and is made of regular worsted weight yarn.
Sadly, they’re not for sale, but this won’t stop us looking in awe at some of her other creations and sizing them up to see if we could have a go at making them ourselves.
She’s also made a version of Alice in Wonderland’s Absalom - the caterpillar - and a nifty Star Wars-inspired hood.

Heart-melting stuff, right?
These aren’t the only amazing crochet creations that Pokorny makes, either. Take a look at her clothing and accessories (for adults too) at her website here.
