The 50 most searched for Halloween costumes of 2016

For those of us who love fancy dress, Halloween is a fantastic time of year.
But the only problem with picking a costume is trying to be original each year, and 2016 is no different. With the release of certain movies (all fingers pointing at Suicide Squad), what would make brilliant outfits won’t be so brilliant when we figure out that half of the party we’re at is wearing the same one.
According to ELLE, the most googled outfit of 2016 is Harley Quinn, and we can’t say we’re surprised. While Margot Robbie looks amazing (and so we too obviously want to look amazing), Holly Willoughby’s own Quinn outfit totally sealed the deal and made us fall in love with the idea of becoming Quinn ourselves.

The other search results prove that Halloween 2016 will be a relatively un-spooky one too, with popular options including Batman, Wonder Woman and Pikachu.
But classics such as a pumpkin (we’ve all been there) and skeleton have stood strong as well.
