Susanna Reid defends Emily Ratajkowski after Piers Morgan's rant about pregnant celebrity naked photos
Susanna Reid has defended celebrities who choose to strip naked while pregnant after Piers Morgan ranted about Emily Ratajkowski's recent nude bump pictures.
The 29-year-old model is currently pregnant with her first child and recently shared pictures on Instagram of a naked photoshoot showcasing her changing body.
But while there was a lot of love for the bump images on Instagram, Good Morning Britain host Morgan was not quite so impressed declaring he was "done seeing naked, pregnant celebrities" claiming women, like Ratajkowski, are doing it "just for clicks".
While co-host Susanna Reid looked on the images favourably, saying that the model was "celebrating her body", Morgan took a more cynical view of the pictures.
"It seems almost mandatory now for women when they’re pregnant, famous women to go naked just to show us what a naked pregnant woman looks like," he said.

"I’m not sure how easily that sits with the privacy stuff, really," he continued. "I think we’re kind of done, aren’t we? With the naked pregnant famous person doing it just for clicks.
"Demi Moore did it about 30 years ago and it’s like ever since, every week there’s another famous pregnant woman going, 'look at me! I’m naked and pregnant, but please respect my privacy'."
Reid then stepped in to remind Morgan that "each individual pregnant woman has the right to do that if they want to!"

Morgan also shared his views about the images on Twitter, which prompted many people to step in to defend the model and other women for their right to do what they like with their bodies.
Maybe she doesn't need your approval to what she does whilst pregnant, go look at your wife naked!!
Leave woman alone you seemed to get a kick out of bullying women just because it doesn't sit with your narrative— Yvonne Hoyte (@yvonne_hoyte) March 3, 2021
You just don’t get it...she’s released photos on her terms, which she has control over! Not some fat cat making money off her. Shouldn’t you be applauding her?!

You don't even realise how disgustingly misogynistic that is. You're implying that a woman who chooses to reveal her body must accept that nothing is private.

This is not the first time that Morgan has hit out at Ratajkowski with the breakfast TV host previously criticising her racy Love magazine advent calendar video.
Morgan and Reid got into a debate about Ratajkowski being a feminist representative after she filmed a sexy video of herself covered in spaghetti.
But Ratajkowski wasn't about to take the criticism lying down and headed to Twitter to issue a response: “Lol never said my love video was a feminist statement.
"But now it’s worth saying that telling women what to do with their bodies & sexuality is actually just classic sexism. I can have opinions about feminism & also do sexy photo shoots k thanks.”
