Emily Ratajkowski's fans react to her new blonde hair: 'Obsessed with your new look'
Emily Ratajkowski has given herself a lockdown hair-over and officially gone blonde.
The 29-year-old, who has kept to her natural brunette colour since the start of her modelling career, has now gone platinum.
The actor headed to Instagram to debut her beachy new locks, sharing an video of the blonde-hair-don’t-care reveal.
“BLONDE. Thank you @kerastase_official,” she wrote in the accompanying caption.
She went on to share more selfies of the transformation, captioning her snaps: “Day 1 as a blondie.”

The star, who is an ambassador for Kérastase, said she worked with the brand to create her new look, revealing it was the first time she’d actually dyed her hair.
“I've never coloured my hair or changed the length significantly in my entire life!” she said in a press statement for Kérastase.
“I’m absolutely thrilled that Kérastase gave me their blessing to become a blonde. I just celebrated my birthday and am so happy to be coming out of quarantine with a fresh new look.”

Seeming to confirm the age-old beauty statement that blondes have more fun, she added: “Beauty is meant to be fun and expressive and this is definitely, hands down, the most fun I’ve ever had with my look before.”
The stylist behind the makeover, Rosa Carrico, also shared a video of the star’s new look, confirming that the colour change wasn’t actually the result of a bored-at-home snap decision.
“We planned it for so many months and finally did it!!” she wrote alongside the video clip. “Love how we embark on these adventures together.”
Despite having the hair change planned for quite some time, the actor admitted to ELLE.com that being in quarantine has played a part in her hair switch-up.
“I'm in LA,” she said. “I'm in my bed, drinking coffee, waking up as my first morning as a blonde. With quarantine, you're staring at yourself in the mirror and you're like, I need to change!”
Since sharing images of her new look to the gram, fans have been giving their thoughts on the big change.
Many loved the star’s new platinum locks.
“Obsessed,” one wrote.
“So much better this colour!!” another agreed.
“Love it!!!!” another user wrote simply.
But others believe the model should have stuck to her signature colour.
“Sorry but brunette forever,” one wrote.
“Forever I have said that you can’t go wrong with anything you do. But this blond hair is big NO!” another agreed.
“Go back to brown!!” another fan commented.
“Nooooooo. ur [sic] signature brown hair,” yet another added.

Ratajkowski isn’t the only celebrity to have switched up their look in quarantine either. Fellow model Kaia Gerber also went over to the blonde side during lockdown.
Last month, she shared a series of photos on Instagram with her freshly lightened locks.
Meanwhile, Julianne Hough traded her blonde locks for something altogether darker.

Taylor Swift also caught the quarantine change bug, heading to Instagram to show off her new rainbow locks, in a perfect summer 2020 look.
Other celebrities who decided to experiment with colour in quarantine include Hilary Duff, who went for a bold blue bob, Sarah Michelle Gellar, who opted for a pop of pink, and Elle Fanning, who also went for a pretty pink hue.
