Strictly’s Pete and Jowita fuel romance rumours as they’re spotted ‘getting cosy’ at drinks party
Strictly Come Dancing stars Pete Wicks and partner Jowita Przystal were reportedly seen cosying up together at a backstage drinks party following the show on Saturday, 5 October. The former The Only Way Is Essex star and Jowita, who have been getting close since beginning the competition together, have been pictured looking cosy after Saturday’s show.
In pictures obtained by The Sun, the dancing duo, who have previously fuelled romance rumours, could be seen chatting to one another and gazing into each other’s eyes following their performance as Pete still sported his Tarzan costume from the dance. Meanwhile Jowita seemed to rest her head on his shoulder.

It comes after the Strictly pairing were dubbed the “fittest couple ever” by viewers at home during their second live performance on the show. As they performed the American Smooth, Pete pulled Jowita in close with their lips just millimetres apart, before ending the dance by leaning in for a kiss before the lights cut out.
Following the performance, some viewers insinuated that the pair had actually kissed, while others hoped for a blossoming romance. “Pete Wicks and Jowita would be the FITTEST couple ever, just saying #StrictlyComeDancing #Strictly,” wrote one on X.

“Jowita and pete make me feral i need them to get to the final so i can keep watching them almost kiss #strictly,” another added. A third commented: “Obsessed with pete just walking around for two minutes and kissing jowita a few times #Strictly.”
Judge Motsi Mabuse also commented on the “romantic atmosphere” the duo had created during the dance. “I think both of you, you had such a beautiful, flirty, romantic atmosphere, and I believed it was authentic,” she said after their performance.
Elsewhere, Pete's best pal Sam Thompson recently said that Pete is “in love” with Jowita during a chat, only to quickly take back his comments. During an interview with Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary on This Morning, Sam opened up on Pete's dynamic with the Strictly pro.
“I think they are in love,” he said, before swiftly clarifying he meant their bond was just friendly. He added: “He cares about her so much, the way he looks at her, I've never seen it before. I just want to see him happy, he is one of the best people I know.”
