Irish model and presenter Vogue Williams is the latest celeb to shimmy her way onto this year's star-studded Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special line-up. The 39 year old, who is better half to reality TV hunk Spencer Matthews, can't wait to hit the ballroom with dance partner Carlos Gu for the festive showdown. Alongside Vogue, the audience will see Tayce and Josh Widdecombe battling it out for the coveted Strictly Christmas Champion glitterball.

Gushing about her participation, Vogue exclaimed: "I’m so excited to join the Strictly family." She joked about her dancing skills, saying, "Carlos would have more of a chance of winning a Nobel Prize than turning me into a good dancer but I am determined to try my very best." Clearly thrilled about the experience, she added, "I’m loving it so far, bring on the ballroom floor." The reveal happened on Strictly: It Takes Two, promising fans high kicks and high spirits with three more celebs waiting in the wings to be announced.

No stranger to the spotlight or dancing shoes, Vogue has twirled before on Dancing With The Stars Australia and regularly lights up our screens with Irish RTE documentaries like Wild Girls, On The Edge, and The Afterlife. You might also catch her voice on podcasts like My Therapist Ghosted Me and sharing giggles with hubby Spencer on Vogue And Spencer.

And if you tune into Lorraine on ITV, she is serving us major fashion moments, not to mention her radio gigs on Heart Radio and the BBC.

Vogue said yes to Spencer in January 2018, following her split from Westlife's Brian McFadden in 2017. The couple tied the knot in June 2018 and are proud parents to three kiddos, Theodore, Gigi and Otto.

Vogue recently opened up exclusively to OK! about her and Spencer's relationship. She said that their relationship has been thriving lately thanks to one simple change. “Spenny and I are getting on extraordinarily well at the moment, because he started helping out around the house."

As a TV power couple with six years of marriage behind them and three beautiful children, you might even call them “couple goals”. But Vogue is quick to point out, if you did, you’d be wrong. “I don’t ever want to be ‘couple goals’,” she laughs. “As soon as you say that, it goes wrong. When you’re in a relationship, everyone has their ups and downs.”

Vogue joins the ranks of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK finalist Tayce, who is set to make history as the show’s first drag artist. Notably, actor Layton Williams had previously donned drag as Betty Rizzo from the musical Grease alongside pro partner Nikita Kuzmin in 2023.

The Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special is all set to light up your screens on BBC One and BBC iPlayer this Christmas Day.
