Sarah Michelle Gellar's new haircut is a stunning transformation

The latest look to catch out eye comes from Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar, who has debuted a fresh '70s-style cut on her Instagram page.
The actor posted a photo of herself looking gorgeous with long curtain bangs framing her face and flowing into long, layered hair.
'She bangs', Sarah wrote as the caption, with her 4.6 million followers rushing to compliment her. 'Slaying since '97', wrote one, while another commented on the similarity with singer Sabrina Carpenter's signature hairstyle.
Sarah has hairstylist Barb Thompson to thank for her new look, which is one of the biggest hair trends right now.
Memorably, in season three of the teen vampire show, Buffy (very unsuccessfully) cut her own fringe into tiny 'baby bangs'. Sarah made light of this, posting two comparison photos to her Instagram stories and writing, 'See...decisions get better with age'.
