Gogglebox stars Giles and Mary's rarely-seen daughters who have never appeared on the show
Gogglebox couple Giles and Mary have become fan favourites with their quirky banter, but fans don't know much about their private life. Despite them never appearing on the show, the couple have two daughters, as they previously shared a rare throwback photo of their family.
The Channel 4 favourites posted the black-and-white snap on Instagram for their followers and fans in 2021, which shows a young Giles Wood and Mary Killen holding their girls up in their arms. In the picture, Mary wore an all black outfit for the picture as her daughter wore a white shirt with her blonde hair styled in pigtails. Giles was dressed in a shirt and jeans as their second daughter wore a colourful dress for the occasion.
"Giles & Mary with their daughters. Hope you enjoyed #Gogglebox last night, nutties! #GilesandMary," the caption read. One fan was left baffled by the snap as they had no idea the pair share two daughters together. They wrote: "Great pic didn’t know they had daughters".

Others gushed over the family unit as one person said: "What a fabulous pic! We love watching you both & you certainly make us laugh!!" with a red heart emoji. "What a beautiful photo xx," another commented with three red heart emojis, while a third added: "This is awesome! You haven’t aged!"
The couple have previously revealed why they other as "nutty" on the popular E4 programme and the reason is just as eccentric as you would expect. Mary explained all during a recent interview with the Daily Star, revealing: "We call each other 'Nutty' because we both consider the other to be a bit mad."
She then went on to say: "Giles has multiple personality disorder so he's all sorts of people and one of them is a bit of a genius. The truth is we're both neurotic."
During the tell all interview, Mary also admitted taking part in Gogglebox has "saved" the couple's marriage, as they used to be like "ships that pass in the night". She told the paper: "Giles and I were like ships that pass in the night. I got up early, he went to bed late and we rarely even ate together."
Mary and Giles, who are in their 50s, met more than 30 years ago at Wimbledon College of Art where Giles was a student and Mary was hired as a model. Mary was paid £4.50 an hour to pose as a costume model, but rejected an extra 25p, which was offered for her to go nude.
