Return to Paradise release date, cast and episode count as Death In Paradise spin-off debuts

Return to Paradise puts a new spin on the Death in Paradise format, this time set Down Under in Australia - but when will the show premiere?

Death In Paradise's first spin-off, Beyond Paradise, saw actor Kris Marshall reprise his role as DI Humphrey Goodman when he took up a job as a detective in Martha’s (played by Sally Bretton) childhood town in Devon.

Now, another spin-off is on the way, this time following the likes of London Metropolitan police officer DI Mackenzie Clarke (Anna Samson), who is forced to return home to Australia. But not everyone is happy to see her come back.

Return to Paradise release date

The new series’ first trailer was dropped in the summer so fans have been eagerly awaiting the show to start for months.

Thankfully, the wait is almost over with Return to Paradise premiering on Friday, November 22, at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
