Diana's former chef celebrating Charles and Camilla despite being 'team Diana': 'Time to move on’
The late Princess of Wales's former chef has said that "it's time to move on" as he reveals he will be "celebrating" King Charles and Queen Camilla despite being 'team Diana'.
Darren McGrady, 61, personally cooked for the late royal, along with her sons Prince William and Prince Harry, from 1993 to 1997.
In a post on Twitter, he said: "I've been 'Team Diana' since she called the palace and asked me to become her chef after the separation."
The princess separated from the then-prince in 1992, before their divorce was officially finalised in 1996.
McGrady, who is now based in the US, continued: "And even when she told me 'I will never be Queen Darren' I didn't want to believe.
"But it's time to move on! And I will be celebrating King Charles III and Queen Camilla."

Before serving the princess – who tragically passed away in 1997 – at Kensington Palace, he was a chef to the late Queen Elizabeth II from 1982 to 1993.
McGrady's post, which comes ahead of the King's coronation early next month, has received more than 2,400 'likes' at the time of publication.
Many social media users said they "agree" with him, although others insisted that the princess should never be "forgotten".
Last year, the chef gave an insight into the unusual diet of the late monarch's beloved corgis, during his time cooking for her between Buckingham Palace, Sandringham and Balmoral for 11 years.

Speaking to GB News, he said: “The Queen didn't have any advisers at all. I think the only real advisers were actually on the corgi menu!
"She would actually have people advising on what they're having, whether that was lamb, chicken, liver or beef.”
